Governed by a Board of Directors, Sheldon College is an Australian Public Company limited by guarantee that is also registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). The members of the company are the directors and any other persons the Directors admit to membership in accordance with its Constitution.

Governed by a Board of Directors, Sheldon College Foundation is an Australian Public Company limited by guarantee that is also registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).
The objectives of the Sheldon College Foundation are to support the provision of educational services by Sheldon College and the instruction training and development of the students of Sheldon College in a manner consistent with the strategic direction of Sheldon College at all times; to support educational research which may benefit the students of Sheldon College; to encourage and foster the interest in and financial support for Sheldon College by the past students, the parents of current and past students and the friends of Sheldon College.
