The 2021 Sheldon College Australian School of the Arts’ Arts Academy Awards night was, once again, a dazzling success. After so many months of living with COVID uncertainty, the College Community were delighted when the night finally arrived, and they were once again able to gather together to celebrate the Arts at Sheldon College.

The black-tie event exceeded all expectations as a spectacular evening of fine dining and entertainment. More than 220 Year 5 to 12 students were involved in the eleven performance items showcasing dancers, vocalists, actors, award nominees, fashion designers, artists, band and choir members; all ably supported by the media, sound and lighting students, and the behind the scenes work of the hospitality students

As always, this night highlighted the incredible growth achieved by so many of our committed Arts students over the period of a year and their very evident love for what they do. It is also a testament to the dedication of the College’s outstanding Arts Team, both in terms of hours spent in preparation, but also in their determination to assist each Arts student to present the best version of themselves.

For those who were unable to be there in person, the event was live-streamed by the outstanding media crew, several of whom were nominees and award winners on the night.
