Between Wednesday 21 October and Tuesday 27 October, students in Years 4, 5 and 6 had the pleasure of participating in a Street Science Incursion.

Street Science is designed to provide captivating and curriculum-aligned entertainment to excite and engage students. The aim is to inspire the next generation of scientists through high-energy Science shows and hands-on workshops.

For participating year levels, the incursion started off with an engaging and academically enriching show. Throughout the presentation, students, with the help of the talented scientist, explored a multitude of different scientific elements such as forcesgases, electricity and light, to name but a few.

At the conclusion of the presentation, students were then able to further explore some of the things that they had learnt through the way of experimentation.

During the Street Science incursion, regardless of the age of the participants, the room was constantly filled with smiles and laughter. Students had a great time learning in such a fun-filled way and are sure to remember the experience for months to come.
