Boots, belt buckles and big hats were in abundance at the 2021 Sheldon College Bush Dance on Friday 5 March. With upwards of 2000 students, families, staff and alumni in attendance, glorious weather contributed to a superb evening of food, dancing and country music under the stars.

A variety of food trucks offering an array of cuisines kept appetites sated whilst students big and small were delighted by the range of rides and attractions.

Several talented Year 11 and 12 students entertained the massive crowd, warming up the main stage in time for the Mount Cotton Pickers to play a 90-minute set of country classics. The dance moves proved as impressive as Dr Bishop’s ability to sell every last raffle ticket!

Little smiles bathed in the light of thousands of glow sticks were testimony to an evening well spent amongst the Sheldon College community, with many declaring this “the BEST Bush Dance ever”!

A special thank you to our wonderful families and our primary sponsor, Kathy Tsai Property, for their generous support of such an important Sheldon event.
