To top off the conclusion of another year at Sheldon College, students from Prep through to Year 4 participated in the annual Junior College Showcase yesterday morning, performing for the Year 5 and 6 cohorts, staff, families and friends.

This year’s theme, ‘Let’s Party Like It’s 1999’, was carefully selected to act as a reminder to all students and their families that regardless of what is happening in the world around us, enjoying music and having fun is a great way to help deal with the hard times.

Throughout the many outstanding performances yesterday, a brief recap of significant worldly events from each year of the 90’s assisted the students and spectators with gaining an understanding of what having fun truly means.

This year’s performance items for each Year group included one or two top hits from their selected year of the 1990’s.

For the first time ever, this year the Junior Showcase was live streamed directly to the College’s intranet system, iLINQ, meaning that students in the older grades who are now on holidays were still able to watch and join in with this outstanding Showcase event.

Congratulations to all the students who took part in such a spectacular event and a huge thank you to the talented staff members involved in making it the success that it was.
