The Year 12 Formal was held yesterday evening in the Sheldon Event Centre and certainly proved to be a night to remember.

Ninety-eight Year 12 students attended and were dressed to impress in stunning gowns and immaculate suits.

The formal commenced at 6:30pm with students arriving in an array of flashy cars before being presented to their parents as they walked down the red carpet.

Once everyone had arrived, students were able to mingle with the parents at the pre-formal before heading inside to get the main celebrations underway.

Graduating students and their teachers were treated to a delicious two-course meal, award announcements, video montages of their journey and meaningful time spent together.

Thankfully, due to the recent ease of COVID-19 related restrictions in Queensland, students were able to close off the evening dancing with their friends and teachers for the last time as Senior students.

As expected, the event proved to be a wonderful celebration of the year and of the students’ schooling journey as a whole.

Next stop – graduation….
