Brass Ensembles

Senior Brass Ensemble

Students who learn a brass instrument in Years 9 - 12 can experience the power and discipline of playing in a brass ensemble. The Senior Brass Ensemble has performed at a number of special events across Brisbane, including the "Commonwealth Day" performance for the Governor of Queensland in March, 2014.

Instrumentation - Trumpet, French Horn, Mellophone, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba (Percussion may be added for specialty pieces)

Rehearsal Venue - MD4 

Times - Monday, 7.30am - 8.15am

Middle College Brass Ensemble

Students who learn a brass instrument in Years 6 - 8 can experience the power and discipline of playing in a brass ensemble. The Middle College Brass Ensemble has performed featured several times on College Assemblies in 2013, most notably at the Open Day Performance in May, and the annual "Battle for Australia" at Government House, Brisbane. Any student who learns a brass instrument in Middle College is invited to become a member of this ensemble.
